I'm a Lego kid. Extending dexterity to the limits of my imagination has become a self-exploration fueling me throughout fine art. I enjoy playing with simple shapes and patterns to create my compositions. The resulting characters in my pieces have become signatures of my thinking process, reminding me where I've been and paving the way for me to move forward.
Most recently I've been creating pieces with epoxy resin, layering shapes to explore dimension and proportion. Techniques in printmaking have lent themselves to dissect and reconstruct different modules and materials in my work. I'm continually inspired by the network of emerging artists in the Bay Area and today I develop new work at my studio in Oakland's FM Gallery.
