Welcome to FM Oakland!

For July and August we are featuring a show of recent paintings by Maria Blanco entitled Volcan Volcano Amor Love. "As time goes by, I now concede that my unconscious is the hidden hand that guides my painting practice. When asked why I decided on this or that series, I have no rational answer or, any answer at all. All I know is that at some level what I paint is personal, but not in the autobiographical sense."

What's FM Oakland?

FM Oakland is a gallery and private studio space of 10 professional Bay Area artists in the ever thriving Oakland Arts District. We open our doors weekly for Saturday Stroll (1-5pm every Saturday), monthly during Art Murmur (first Friday of every month), and for gallery receptions.
