Welcome to FM Oakland!
FM Oakland is proud to host the latest series of work by students at the Oakland School for the Arts Visual Art Department in a show entitled "Cramped Spaces."
The Visual Art department at Oakland School for the Arts has historically been very resourceful, flexible, and adaptive to small work spaces. Students and educators have had to think creatively to be able to secure some of the larger scale and more complex projects the department has done over the years. OSA, now in its 20th year, is celebrating the opening of a new studio building that will immeasurably positively impact the above challenge. All of the art work has been made by high school visual art students and is in response to the physical, emotional, psychological, and spiritual challenges to creating in Cramped Spaces.
